Whatcott and LaBarberaDear Friends,As of today I have successfully distributed 2500 of the 5000 flyers advertising our conference “Bringing the Light of Christ to our Culture”, featuring guest speakers Father Jeffrey Stefaniuk, Peter LaBarbera and Susan Takata to various homes throughout Regina. Responses to the flyer have been mixed. One 40 year old hippie, sporting a pony tail and Che Guevera t-shirt ran outside of his house and stared at me after reading my flyer. I smiled and waved at the guy as I continued with my work of inviting the city of Regina to the conference and thereby bypassing Regina Leader Post censorship. I assume the hippie did not like me as he did not look happy, nor did he wave back or say hi to me after I waved to him.

On the other hand I was blessed to hand my advertising flyer to a Sudanese Pastor in the north end of Regina. The Pastor asked me a few questions about my views on homosexuality and on the conference. Once I finished answering the Pastor’s questions, he prayed over me and told me I was doing “good and important work.” The Pastor also told me he was going to attend the conference.
