On Tuesday, the bodies were found in a vault while the men were upgrading the water mains that run beneath the park.
The 8-foot-deep, 15-foot-wide and 20-foot-long vault holds human remains that are over one hundred years old.
The Landmarks Commission will soon team up with archeologists and anthropologists to investigate this find even further.
For now, the area is blocked off from cars and pedestrians.
