I want to be so full of Jesus, so full of His love, His forgiveness, His grace and His mercy that it overflows out from me to those who need His touch, His love, His embrace. More of Him, less of me, then also my wants and needs would be minimised in His presence where there is fullness of joy.

Greetings my highly esteemed friend. I have learned that as we are being transformed from glory to glory into the same image of Christ by the Spirit of God(2 cor 3:18) it is God’s will to build our character to match Christ’s and increase our faith. There are many ways that God increases our faith:

1. Read the Word

Or at least hear God’s Word. Romans 10:17 (NKJV) says, So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” If no one had ever told me about Jesus, and about God’s plan for my life, or if I had never read for myself about Him, I would be clueless about the need for faith. Knowing His promises, what God says about you, about life, about Jesus’ plan for eternal life won’t transplant themselves into your brain by osmosis. Become familiar with the Bible, and what faith is all about, and meditating on its contents will give you the basis for growing or increasing your faith.

2. Heed the Word

James 1:22-24 (NKJV) offers a second way to increase your faith: But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
If we fail to heed what we’re reading, and ignore what God is telling us, then our faith grows stagnant. It took faith for us to become children of God in the first place. In order to grow and increase our faith, we need to use that “measure” of faith God gives to everyone and build on it.

Do something that activates your faith in a specific area.

Simply put, you have to get out of the boat. It’s the only way to real growth and it is the way that true faith develops. You have to move, break the routine, get up and get out. Faith develops as you start moving. Make it your aim today to activate your faith and build on the measure of faith you already have.

Concentrate on a specific area of need in your life or others.

Faith must be increased in a specific area by concentrating on that area and using the Word of God, prayer, confession, and Holy Spirit activity in that area. Your capacity to receive increases with the nucleus of faith being stretched when you pray it, say it, reach for it, and confess it. Increase your faith by seeing an area in your life you will set your faith toward.

From studing reading what John Hagee has to say about faith in his manual “Bible Faith” the Holy Spirit has assisted me in putting together a confession of faith that I decalre daily using scripture as medicine to heal the body. I have memorized it and I declare it everyday. You are free to print it out and use it for your, or someone elses, restoration of health:

I do not consider my own body. I consider Jesus, my High Priest and Author and Finisher of my faith.
He became my Substitute. He took my sin, bore my sicknesses and carried my diseases.
That word does not depart from before my eyes, I keep it in the midst of my heart.
I see myself without sin, I see myself without sickness, I see myself without disease, I see myself well.
God wants to make His word good in my life,
for it is life unto me that finds it and health unto all my flesh.
let it be done unto me according to my faith.
I hold fast to the confession of my faith:
You sent forth you word and healed me (Psalm 107:20
You will restore health to me and heal me of my wounds (Jeremiah 30:17)
Who forgives all our sins, Who heals all our diseases(Psalm 103:3)
By whose Stripes I was healed (1 Peter 2:24)
I believe and I recieve !!

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Also, the process of testing the measure of faith you have may involve trials and difficulties. How can you increase your faith in those circumstances? Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance (James 1:2-3, NIV).
